| European Symposium of Organic Chemistry (21st ESOC) |
| The ESOC conference was held at the Messe Wien, and was organized by Professors Nuno Maulide and Michael Schnurch. |
Gabbi presented a poster on the N-arylation of amines. Berit participated as member of the Scientific committee. |
Two former post docs from the group participated with their research as PIs! Gergely Tolnai from Eötvös Lorand University in Budapest, Hungary presented a poster (left).
Vittorio Pace from the University of Vienna gave an oral communication (below). |

The YIW was very well organized by Vittorio Pace, a former post doc in the group who is now running a successful research group at the University of Vienna. Berit participated as theSecretary/vice president of the EuChemS Organic Chemistry Division. |
