I have involed in the project that recently published, Regioselective Iridium-Catalyzed Asymmetric Monohydrogenation of 1,4-Dienes in Journal of the American Chemical Society. In this project we developed the regioselective asymmetric hydrogenation of 1,4-diene which have two different olefins. Under optimized reaction we obtained desired product in moderate to good yields with excellent %ee. The hydrogenated product can be used to prepared useful intermediate.
