The opponent was Prof. Viktor Zhdankin from the University of Minnesota Duluth, USA. The dissertation started with a presentation of Nazli's thesis by the opponent. |
Then the question part begun, and Nazli and Viktor had a very interesting discussion on a range of topics related to the thesis. The examination committee also asked questions, then the session was closed. |
| The examination committee consisted of Prof. Pher Andersson, Uppsala University, Docent Jens Åhman, AstraZeneca R&D and KTH, and Dr. Göran Marsh, Stockholm University. Prof. Björn Åkermark from Stockholm University was the reserve member. |
The examination committe has come to a verdict - Nazli passed and is now entitled PhD in Organic Chemistry! |
