Agnieszka Bartoszewicz
Agnieszka Bartoszewicz was born in Skarzysko-Kamienna (central Poland). She obtained BSc in Molecular Biology in 2005 and MSc in Organic Chemistry in 2006 (with Dr Tomasz Bauer) at the Warsaw University. During her master's work she conducted research on palladium-catalyzed asymmetric allylic substitutions. In 2006, she joined Prof. Jacek Stawinski's group at Stockholm University for a research project in phosphorus and nucleic acid chemistry. She was awarded the AstraZeneca prize for undergraduate students in 2008. She started her PhD in February 2008. Agnieszka is working on the development of new metal-catalysed tandem transformations. Within the Berzelii Center EXSELENT on Porous Materials, she is working on the synthesis of metal complexes immobilized in metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and studying their catalytic activity. |

Nanna Ahlsten
Nanna Ahlsten was born in Visby, and later moved to Lund where in 2003 she started her undergraduate studies in Lund University. The year 2005/2006 she spent as an Erasmus student at University College Dublin. Later, she conducted her diploma work with Prof. Ola F. Wendt studying bond activation in pincer complexes by late transition metals. She started the PhD in February 2008. Nanna is also working on the development of new metal-catalysed tandem transformations and studying their mechanisms. Within the Berzelii Center EXSELENT on Porous Materials, she is also working on the synthesis of porous adsorbents for separation of CO2 from gas mixtures |

Mikaela Gustafsson and Suman Sahoo
Mikaela (left) is a PhD student in the group of Prof. X. Zou at the structural department of Stockholm University. She is working with us on the development of new catalytic applications of meta-organic frameworks. Suman (right) is working in the group of Prof. X. Zou as well, and together with our group, she is working on heterogeneous catalysis. |

Kévin Layman
Kévin has spent 4 months (April 2009-July 2009) in our lab as Erasmus student. He comes from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie. |
|
Helena Lundberg
Helena did her Master project in our group in 2009 working on rhodium-catalyzed transformations. She is now doing the PhD in the group of Prof. Hans Adolfsson at Stockholm University. |

Eduardo Busto
Eduardo Busto (Oviedo, 1982) is currently finishing his Ph. D. in the group of Prof. V. Gotor and V. Gotor-Fernández in Oviedo, Spain. He joined our group in Stockholm for three months in 2008 and worked on the DYKAT of diols. His research was performed in collaboration with Prof. Bäckvall´s group. |

Madeleine Livendahl
Madeleine Livendahl started in our group in October 2007 to perform the final project for the Bachelor degree. In February 2008, she presented her research about the isomerization of allylic alcohols and tandem isomerization / C-C bond forming reactions catalyzed by transition metal complexes. She is now at the ICIQ in Spain in the group of Prof. A. M. Echavarren. |
